Lisa A. Rose is a dedicated and highly qualified professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of education. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the prestigious University of Florida, Lisa has seamlessly merged her business acumen with a passion for teaching to create a remarkable career in education.

Her commitment to advancing her skills and knowledge is evident through her impressive list of certifications. Lisa is a Certified IMSE Orton-Gillingham Teacher/Tutor, specializing in dyslexia intervention through Structured Literacy. She is also a certified Reading Endorsement educator, holding a State of Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE), English for Speakers of Other Languages, Mathematics (5 – 9), and Elementary Education (Grade K – 6). This diverse set of certifications showcases Lisa's versatility and ability to cater to the unique needs of students across various educational domains.

Lisa's dedication to professional development is highlighted by her participation in training programs and certification practicums. She completed the IMSE Orton-Gillingham Comprehensive and Intermediate Training in October-November 2020 and engaged in the University of Florida Flamingo Literacy Matrix from January 2021 to October 2021. Currently, she is undergoing the IMSE Orton-Gillingham Certification Practicum, showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of effective teaching methodologies.

With a solid educational background and a comprehensive set of certifications, Lisa has made a significant impact in the classroom. Her teaching experience spans various levels, from elementary to middle and high school, within Broward County Public Schools. Notably, she served as an Elementary School Educator from August 2015 to June 2020, a Middle School Mathematics Teacher from August 2012 to May 2014, and a High School Mathematics Teacher from August 2010 to May 2012. Her expertise in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1 and Mathematics for College Liberal Arts reflects her versatility as an educator.

Beyond her formal roles, Lisa is deeply committed to community service. As a Youth Mentor for programs such as Precision Youth Mentoring Program, Visions of Images, Inc. (since 2007) and Take Stock in Children, Youth Mentoring Program (2005-2010), she has demonstrated a passion for positively influencing the lives of young individuals.
